PIF x Selfridges Corner Shop Launch, London

As part of PIF’s Saudi: Sky’s the Limit at Selfridges London, we curated a culinary experience celebrating Saudi flavours alongside a showcase of the Kingdom’s emerging creative and luxury brands. Our bespoke selection of sweet and savoury canapés reimagined familiar Saudi flavours in a contemporary format, with creations including haneeth tartlets, masabeeb, black olive tartlets, Saudi coffee tartlets, and hibiscus and rosewater meringues. A cultural culinary journey from Saudi Arabia to the world, the experience brought Saudi hospitality and flavour to the heart of London.
JOALI BEING, Maldives

We were honoured to bring a taste of Saudi hospitality and storytelling to JOALI BEING in the Maldives through Chef Nawal Alkhalawi’s culinary residency during Eid Al-Adha. Over the course of the residency, Chef Nawal curated a series of dining and culinary experiences that celebrated the traditions, flavours and spirit of Saudi Arabia, while creating meaningful connections through food. From a family-style sharing dinner inspired by the generosity of Saudi gatherings to an interactive cooking class exploring the culinary ties between the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean, each experience was designed to spark conversation, cultural exchange and discovery.

Chef Nawal brought her sustainable Saudi cuisine to Soneva Jani in the Maldives, highlighting authentic Saudi flavors during the Eid holiday period, April 1-3, 2025. Known for her commitment to eco-friendly, organic ingredients, she presented an exclusive, locally sourced culinary experience.

Purificación García, Riyadh

For the Saudi edition of luxury Spanish brand Purificación García’s Thinker Program, Chef Nawal AlKhalawi was invited to create an original work inspired by the brand’s iconic Tandem bag. Bringing her culinary perspective into the world of art and luxury, Nawal created a bold installation using fresh, colourful produce arranged across six platforms. Inspired by the brand’s values of simplicity, purity and functionality, the piece explored diversity, truth and transparency through food as an artistic medium. The work was exhibited at Naila Art Gallery in Riyadh alongside pieces by fellow Saudi female artists.
